Nanjia is a graduate student at the ASE lab under the supervision of Dr. Maurer. His thesis focus focuses on single-user cross-reality (CR) applications. His research goal is to exploit the potential benefits of single-user CR applications, including the ability to transit to spaces on the Milgram’s Reality Virtuality Continuum (RVC) that are most suitable for specific tasks. Nanjia is currently working on Extended Reality Innovations for the Reservoir Engineering project in partnership with the Reservoir Simulation Research Group of the Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering and the Computer Modeling Group. The project’s goal is to enhance reservoir engineering workflow using extended reality (XR) and CR.
